Il Verreno is located above the town of Ambra, in the southern Chianti area, among olive trees, vineyards and oaks. The ancient village has been brought back to life with a careful restoration of both the Manor House and the annexed buildings.

Once the works on the structures were finished, we started to create the gardens. We are grateful to anyone who has had the foresight to plant so many trees that have given us a structure to begin with. An ancient oak forest covers part of the park and offers shelter in the shade, in the heat of summer and allows delicious walks in the woods.

Hundreds of new olive trees have been added to the ripe ones that we have inherited and produce high quality oil. We have our vegetable garden, aromatic garden and orchard, whose products are used in our kitchen. A large lavender plantation completes our agricultural production.
